1. Overall, students take piano lessons for 30 or 60 minutes in person, while 45 minutes is another option for virtual lessons. Coaching sessions for acting and public speaking follow this structure, as well. Note that lesson duration also depends on other factors, such as age and skill level.
2. Students may also sign up for a combo package of piano lessons with other types of lessons.
3. Students are given opportunities to perform, for instance on recitals. Performance is an option, not a requirement.
4. Generally, students are expected to take their lessons once a week, but those who would like more lesson time may take 90-minute lessons or lessons twice a week if approved.
5. Students typically take lessons on weekdays after work or school, including those who live or work in these areas: Chelsea, Flatiron, Midtown Manhattan, Union Square, Soho, Tribeca, Financial District, Battery Park, East Village, West Village, Greenwich Village, Upper East Side, and Upper West Side.
"I was nervous, anxious, and very insecure about my decision to pursue piano lessons again as an adult, since abandoning lessons when I was a teenager. After much consideration, I started looking for a new piano teacher that was convenient for me. Before meeting Niki, we communicated via email and phone. She seemed genuinely concerned about my desires, goals and hopes in learning the piano, which I liked very much. Niki was even more warm, friendly, and energetic in person. I must say, what I appreciate most about Nikole since having lessons with her for the past several months is that she has been EXCEPTIONALLY patient, encouraging and thoughtful during lessons. I've become more confident as a piano player and as a person because of Niki's passion and heartfelt guidance as a teacher. Thanks so much, Niki!!"

"Nikole is phenomenal. Great spirit, incredibly welcoming. I feel a lot more confident in public speaking.

1. Students are expected to take lessons once a week and pay in cycles of 4 lessons. If they request and are approved for more weekly lesson time, such as 90-minute weekly lessons or two lessons per week, their payment cycles will be adjusted accordingly.
2. Payment is due the lesson before the start of the next lesson cycle in order for the student to secure time slots. All payments are non-refundable.
3. A lesson that is canceled with notice of 24 hours or less is missed and payment for it is forfeited. If students give notice of more than 24 hours (at least 48 hours is appreciated) that they are unable to take their lesson in a given week, they are expected to make up their lesson time rather than skip it. They can either reschedule the lesson to another week (in which they will also have their regularly scheduled lesson) or extend the duration of future lessons.
4. Lesson cycles take place and are billed continuously, regardless of how many lessons remain to be used, until the student discontinues lessons. The payment date is not adjusted and the amount is not reduced for the next lesson cycle because of an unused lesson from a previous cycle that is expected to be made up.
5. Students who take a break from lessons, corresponding to more than 3 consecutive weeks of no lessons, will not be billed nor need to make up the lessons that would have taken place during the break, e.g., students away at camp during the summer months of July and August. Students that request to resume after a break will be subject to the approval of the teacher, who also determines the condition of resumption.
6. Any unused lesson in a lesson cycle will remain as a credit for 90 days after the lesson payment date for the student to use, after which it will be forfeited.
7. If the instructor cannot teach for any particular reason, she will work with the student to reschedule the lesson(s).
